  1. Your middle finger on the A string at the 2nd fret.
  2. Your index finger on the G string at the 1st fret.
  3. Let the low E, D, B and high E strings ring open.

  1. Lay your index finger flat across the A to the high E string at the 7th fret.
  2. Your ring finger on the D string at the 9th fret.
  3. Your little finger on the B string at the 9th fret.
  4. Don't play the low E string: start your strum on the A string.
