The F# chord is the notes F#, A# and C#. The usual shape is a barre at the 2nd fret: 2 4 4 3 2 2, from the low E string to the high E. The guitar above is set up with F# on the A key: tap it or press A to hear it, then strum the strings.
Numbers are fingers: 1 index to 4 little
The top four strings, no full barre
Strum only the four thinnest strings: x x 4 3 2 2. It's a good way in before the full shape. Switch the guitar's chord level from Standard to Easy to hear it.
The same chord, higher and brighter
Play it as x 9 11 11 11 9, a barre at the 9th fret. Switch the guitar's chord level from Standard to Up to hear it.
These share a key with F#, so they sound right together, and they're on the pads next to it:
